weekend picnic
after our trip to quiet valley over the weekend, we went back to my parents' house for a picnic on their deck. my mom made so many amazing things for dinner . . . chicken satay, teriyaki steak, baked beans, broccoli salad, carrot salad, and frozen lemonade. for dessert we had angel food cake with fruit and fresh whipped cream. seriously, my mom is the best cook ever! yum!

I come from a family of excellent chefs and I learned what good food is all about. All of this knowledge has been past down to you from grandparents, aunts, and mama. That is why you and your brother are such good chefs and bakers too. Jeff still helps mom in the kitchen, sometimes shaking his head. The art of cooking and the love of eating has been passed down through the generations.
I think we need to go into business.
