we're not huge sports fans, but when we found out that our university's alumni association was offering discounted tickets to a local minor-league baseball game this weekend, we thought it would be a fun date night. we went to a game last april and really enjoyed it, so we were excited to go again.
since we went with the alumni association group, our tickets were in a private party pavilion on the left side of the stadium, and the tickets came with an all-you-can-eat buffet. they had hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, coleslaw, baked beans, watermelon, and cookies.
the scranton/wilkes-barre railriders played the rodchester red wings, and the railriders won (5-1)! the weather was absolutely beautiful on friday night. the temperature was so comfortable, it was perfect weather for sitting outside and watching a baseball game. we had a really great time, and it was a fun date night!
