the other day, andrea wrote on instagram that the days feel long but the weeks feel short. i totally agree. janaury has been a blur. the days certainly feel long at work, but it seems like the weeks are flying right on by . . . and somehow it's friday again. even though this week was only a four-day work week, it was still an exhausting one. ryan and i both actually have the day off tomorrow and we are looking forward to being able to relax and to catch up on some sleep before things get crazy again on sunday. the forecast is calling for more snow this weekend. i certainly hope it doesn't snow (especially on our day off). i am so over winter. spring, where are you?

Well said. The days do feel long but the week is flying by. I can do without the snow forecast for tomorrow. I am ready for warmer weather to melt the ice on the walkway.
