after we
toured bethlehem on saturday, we admired some of the covered bridges in the lehigh valley area via a
self-guided driving tour. there are over 200 covered bridges still standing in pennsylvania, and 7 of those bridges are in lehigh valley. we drove around to see 5 of the covered bridges, all of which we were able to drive over. each was over 100 feet long, and all of the bridges we visited were built in the 1800s. it was neat to see all of the bridges. driving through the bridges gave us an up close look at the architecture, which was so impressive. it was like taking a little step back in time.

That bridge is my favorite because it seems to be kept up the nicest. Even though we have seen them before, it is always nice viewing history.
