celebrating ryan's mom's birthday

on saturday, we went down to ryan's parents' house to celebrate ryan's mom's birthday.  we celebrated with pizza for dinner and birthday cake for dessert, followed by birthday presents.

it was nice to be able to spend time with our families (and with ryan's parents' kitties too).  of course, the kitties are always the center of attention in our family no matter the occasion!
