grab an ice cream sandwich!

what a great day to celebrate!  it's national ice cream sandwich day!  i can't think a better treat to cool you down on a hot august day.  did you know that the first ice cream sandwich sold for just one penny in 1900 from a pushcart in nyc?  ice cream sandwiches come in all varieties, but my favorite is still the classic vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate cookies.
