lunch at the reading terminal market
while we were in philly last week at the flower show (here and here), we went across the street to the reading terminal market to grab lunch. i've heard so much about the market for years, but have never been there before. it was incredibly crowded for lunch since the flower show was going on and there were several conferences happening as well. we had to wait in some long lines, but scored a great slice of pizza with mediterranean salad on top, burgers with seasoned crinkle fries, a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, and some great (and inexpensive) produce. i'd love to go back to the market on a much-less busy day. there sure were a lot of interesting booths and vendors.

Yes, I agree. It would be nice to walk around the market and see all the vendors on a less hectic day. Definitely take shopping bags for the produce, what great buys.
