we survived our
second and last nutcracker for the year this week and it was a much more pleasant experience than the first one that we did a month ago! this production, just like the last, was filmed to be broadcast on local tv around christmas.
it turned out great, and we can't wait to see it on tv! here are some photos from the week. i posted a ton more photos from the production
here on our theatre's facebook page.
the ballet company even bought us gifts as a thank you . . . can you believe it?! it was so sweet. they bought us a nutcracker and an act II themed snow globe that plays the dance of the sugar plum fairy song.
love, laurie

What a difference it makes working with professional people who appreciate you. It makes your job so much more enjoyable and easier. They are pretty nice gifts, how thoughtful.
Wow, the stage looks beautiful! What a nice surprise to get gifts from the company - so thoughtful! I'm really glad that this experience was better than the first show. Now you can breathe a sigh of relief.
