here are our highlights from 2021 . . .
in january, we rang in the new year with our family. we celebrated nine years with leko and as a gift leko got his own little theatre-themed cat scratcher house. i turned 36 and celebrated my birthday with my family. we spent some time in the theatre playing with lights and then we got to film a charity concert starring the new york tenors!

in february, ryan got snowed in at work. we watched the super bowl from home with leko and i celebrated three years at my job. our love story was featured by our university's alumni association and we celebrated a quiet valentine's day together at home, and we held a ghost tours event at our theatre.
in march, ryan brought home the most incredible flowers from work, and we took a trip to the cheesecake factory with our parents. we celebrated ryan's mom's birthday, and bought a pizza oven! i went to my friend katie's bridal shower too.
in april, we celebrated easter with our families. we welcomed our first live audience back to the theatre in over a year and did some tech work on stage. my parents and i drove down to doylestown for the day to tour the mercer museum, fonthill castle, and the moravian pottery and tile works.
in may, we took a little day trip to woodbury commons, and said goodbye to our dear doc. we braved the weather to see an outdoor ballet and celebrated mother's day with our families. we kicked off dance recital season and our friends katie and travis got married! we worked a bunch of dance shows and celebrated memorial day with our families.
in june, we worked more dance recitals, celebrated an award ryan got at work, and went kayaking at a local lake. we celebrated ryan's dad's birthday and father's day. we had a visit from ryan's aunt and uncle and then wrapped up dance recital season.
in july, we celebrated the fourth of july with fireworks in the rain at skytop lodge and some dry fireworks at north pocono's stadium too. i worked the peach music festival at the concert pavilion. my dance students got fitted for their first pairs of pointe shoes and we all performed at the scranton/wilkes-barre railriders baseball game! we took a rail-bike tour in hawley, got our kayaks back out on the water, and built some new stage risers for the theatre. we had a rock tribute band at the theatre and took a day trip up to destiny usa.
in august, we celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary by taking a weekend getaway to chincoteague and assateague islands. ryan started his new job and my dance students danced for a local street fair. we took a trip to the wayne county fair too. ryan turned 37 and we celebrated by spending the day at knoebels amusement park. my dance students performed at another baseball game, and we drove down to the bucks county playhouse to see the marilu henner show. we started the fall semester with me teaching college courses for 13 years and ryan starting his first semester as a college teacher! we kicked off the fall show season with a great elton john tribute concert at the theatre!
in october, we had a rat pack tribute show and i worked the load in and out of the touring broadway show rain. we had the fall main stage production of "when we dead awaken" at the university, worked a neil diamond tribute show at the theatre, worked a "school house rock" children's theatre show, and worked a journey tribute band show too. we finished off the month by celebrating halloween by handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.
in november, we worked the broadway tour of the buddy holly musical when it came to town and celebrated my dad's birthday. we had a peter, paul, and mary tribute at the theatre, celebrated thanksgiving, and survived nutcracker #1. my dance studio kicked off the holiday season by dancing at the tower lighting event downtown too!
in december, we worked the tour of the broadway musical "waitress" when it came to town and there was a feature article about me in happenings magazine. we survived nutcracker #2, my dance studio did their christmas recital, and we worked some high school christmas concerts. we had "the italian broadway christmas show" at the theatre and my dance studio got to dance at the show! we worked our last dance show of the year, finally got to celebrate my mama's birthday, and finished out the 2021 show year with the "twelve twenty-four" show too. we celebrated christmas with our families by spending christmas eve at my parents' house and christmas day at our house.

Wow, what a Year! Excellent pictures and commentary. You guys sure did a lot this year. Be proud of yourselves. Happy New Year of 2022 that is filled with Good Health, Success, Peace, and Love!
I loved looking at all of these great photos summarizing the past year. You certainly have been busy!!! Let's hope that 2022 treats everyone well!
