we celebrated mother's day on sunday at our house with our parents. everyone came over for a tea party brunch and we enjoyed egg casserole, tater tots, a cast-iron skillet pancake with berries, mini mocha chocolate chip muffins, and cinnamon rolls.
we took a walk on a newly opened trail and then later in the day made homemade pizza in the backyard with our pizza oven. we capped off the evening with a gender reveal ice cream cake (but you'll have to wait a little while longer to find out the baby's gender)!
it was such a nice day to get together, relax, and celebrate!

It was a lovely day from start to finish. Everything was delicious and it was a beautiful day for a walk. We enjoyed the gender reveal cake, but we won't disclose the result to anyone!
