we kicked off our disney vacation by flying down to florida on monday. since we arrived mid day, we didn't go into one of the parks. instead we got ourselves unpacked at the pop century resort, rode the brand new skyliner system, got our photos taken in front of the entrance to magic kingdom, and then headed over to the grand floridian resort for an incredible dinner. after dinner, we rode the monorail around and checked out the polynesian resort at night with a cool view of cinderella castle.

^3 years ago, i bought these nail decals off etsy. i've been anxiously waiting for a disney trip in order to use them!^
^when we were last in disney in may 2019, the skyliner system was still being constructed. it didn't open until september of that year, so we never got a chance to ride it. we were thrilled to take it for a spin and loved that fact that our resort was one of the few resorts serviced by the skyliner. we got to ride it a few times during the week to get to different resorts/parks. it was a very efficient and fun way to travel!^
^dinner at the
grand floridian cafe was incredible! we shared the miso salmon and the lobster thermidor veggie burger. for dessert, we shared the key lime pie tart. seriously, yum!^
^the grounds of the grand floridian resort are so beautiful! it was nice to walk around after dinner to admire their landscaping!^

Excellent pictures, they really show the beauty of the resort. Yes, that dinner was delicious, I will eat that burger any day. Throughout the parks, the flowers were incredible.
