ryan's birthday was on sunday, and we spent the whole day celebrating at our house. we started off the birthday celebrations in the morning in our pjs out on the screen porch with a peach dutch baby pancake in a cast-iron skillet and presents. we couldn't believe how cool it was outside in the morning for august! we actually had to grab our robes to sit outside!
our parents came up to continue the celebrations for lunch, and we enjoyed a seafood boil on the screen porch complete with shrimp, clams, corn, potatoes, cole slaw, and berry lemonade. we topped it all off with lemon raspberry bundt cake birthday cake.
we took a walk around the block, opened presents, and then finished off the evening with homemade pizza in the pizza oven for dinner.
