another year has come and gone and it's that time again for another annual year-in-review post. i enjoy these posts each year because they are such a great way to close out the year and look back on all of the things that we packed into the past twelve months.
here are our highlights from 2022 . . .
in january, we rang in the new year with family, celebrated 10 years with leko, celebrated my birthday, and visited the clark summit ice festival.

in february, i worked the broadway tour of "charlie and the chocolate factory" when it came to town, i celebrated my 4 year anniversary at work, we did the musical "merrily we roll along" at the university, and we had a special brunch with our parents to tell them we were expecting noah!
in march, i worked the broadway tour of "south pacific" when it came to town, we announced that we were expecting baby noah in august, we cuddled up leko a lot, we took a trip to the cheesecake factory, we went out for sundaes, we celebrated ryan's mom's birthday, and we kicked off the spring show season with a johnny cash tribute and a comedy show.
in april, we worked a styx tribute concert, kicked off spring dance recital season, helped a student with her senior show, celebrated the half-way mark of pregnancy at 20 weeks, celebrated easter with our families, and got a clean bill of health for leko at the vet.
in may, we celebrated mother's day with our families and did a gender reveal for our families, worked many dance recitals, took a vacation to walt disney world in florida with my parents where we did some fun gender reveal photos, and celebrated memorial day with our families.
in june, took baby boy on his first bike ride in my tummy, celebrated ryan's parents' 50th wedding anniversary, celebrated father's day and ryan's dad's birthday, attended a memorial butterfly release event, and finished off a long spring dance recital season with my dance company's two recitals.
in july, we celebrated the fourth of july, cooled off in our inflatable pool in the backyard, tested out the baby stroller with leko, had a great time at our baby shower, saw baby via 4D ultrasound, celebrated our volunteer ushers at the theatre, enjoyed a little overnight family getaway at a cabin, and visited with jeremy.
in august, we celebrated our 12 year wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway to ocean grove, worked a james taylor tribute concert, watched my dance students dance in a parade, celebrated ryan's birthday, took a scenic train ride with our families, ended the summer dance season with a dance showcase, hiked around ice lake, filmed some ads for the theatre at the local tv station, took some maternity photos in a field of sunflowers, then welcomed baby noah into the world 48 hours later!
in september, we shared baby boy's nursery, took noah to his first-ever italian festival over labor day weekend, celebrated grandparents' day, enjoyed some of noah's firsts, worked an abba tribute concert with a newborn, celebrated leko's 11th birthday, took a trip to ritter's cider mill, worked a motown tribute concert, and enjoyed our little cutie.
in october, we worked an indian music concert, celebrated 11 years of blogging, worked the fall main stage play at the university, went apple picking, went to the pumpkin walk, worked a barbra streisand tribute concert, marked two months with noah, and celebrated noah's first halloween by dressing him up as a pineapple.
in november, we worked a journey tribute show, enjoyed bath time with noah, took some walks to soak in the fall weather, laughed at the many facial expressions of noah, realized that noah may be a future dentist, celebrated noah's first thanksgiving with family, and survived nutcracker number 1 of 2.
in december, we were shocked when noah worked on learning to sit, loved seeing noah cuddle in grandma's nest, dressed up for the christmas dance recital, survived nutcracker #2, celebrated noah turning 4 months old, loved watching noah meet santa, sent out our christmas cards, and enjoyed noah's first christmas eve and christmas day.

Wow! What a power-packed year and even having a baby. You two are amazing and incredible. No one can ever call you guys lazy. The pictures are fantastic. We enjoyed remembering all that occurred this past year.
2023 will be just as great as Noah grows and learns new things.

Wow, that was a super busy year - lots of activity and lots of change. It is fun to look back at all the events of 2022. 2023 will also be a year of change as we all watch Noah grow. Thanks for all the great photos! We are blessed to be able to live close enough that we can enjoy being with you more often than before.
