first time in the highchair!

little man sat in his high chair for the first time last week the day after he turned 6 months old.  we haven't started feeding him any foods yet, but we wanted to get him used to his highchair with some toys.

he enjoyed it and did great.  what a big boy!  (it's hard to believe we bought this highchair almost a year ago!)

6 months old!

this little nugget turned 6 months old on tuesday, and i'm honestly not sure how he's 6 months!  of course we had to mark the occasion by taking some photos on his milestone blanket.

noah's number one favorite place to sleep has been on my lap on top of his boppy pillow.  a close second lately has been mom and dad's bed!  spoiled?  yup!

february walks

last week we had three days in a row that were unseasonably warm for february.  i bundled up noah on valentine's day and put him in his bassinet attachment for the stroller and took a little stroll around the block.

the next two days were even warmer so we took a stroll with daddy before he had to head to work.  noah tried out his big boy seat attachment for the stroller on those days and loved it.  he enjoyed looking around the neighborhood and dozed off for a little nap each day.

my boys

leko has a pink fleece blanket that he loves to cuddle up on which is on our bed.  recently, i placed noah down next to leko on the bed so that i could fold some laundry.  noah played with leko's beaver catnip toy and then ever so gently extended his hand out to leko.  i kept a close eye on the two of them.  

leko gave noah a little sniff and both survived.  we often show noah how to gently pet leko and he has been doing so great being gentle with him!

the popovich comedy pet theater show

on friday, we had a very different type of show on our stage.  the popovich comedy pet theatre show from las vegas performed and wowed the audience with their talented cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, ducks, pig, and pony.

alumni love stories

our university's alumni association is spreading the love during the month of february by sharing stories of alumni couples.

five years!

yesterday was my five year work anniversary of running the theatre.  (i swear it feels like way more than that!)

this year all of my work photos included noah (even when he was in my belly when i filmed pa live)!

my job sure is crazy, but i do love it and i'm very grateful to be able to do it!

get out there and support local live entertainment!

kicking off the 2023 show season

on saturday we kicked off the 2023 show season on stage with a valentine's day themed concert.  in addition to the incredible singing talent of anthony nunziata, we also had my dance students there to perform an opening number along with a local high school choir as special performing guests.

we're grateful to my parents' friends who gave them this saucer seat toy for noah to use since their grandchildren outgrew it.  he has been enjoying it for sure!

all's quiet . . . occasionally

it's very rare to have a moment in our house when all's quiet and no one's yelling.  i soak up the occasions when both of these little boys are sleeping at the same time and it's peaceful!

who knows what punxsutawney phil will determine this morning depending on whether or not he sees his shadow, but punxsutawney leko is hoping for early spring!  leko's ready for the cold to go away so that it can warm up and he can enjoy his screened-in porch again.

noah has been getting better and better at tummy time.  he's rolling over to his tummy all on his own and hanging out there, especially when he gets to play with his favorite little piano toy!
