sometimes noah eats great, sometimes not so much. he wasn't interested in much the other day, but was interested in scrambled eggs with pieces of cooper cheese. whatever it takes to get him to eat.
he had to wear my apron, help me make it, and stand at the island to eat it too, of course!
i leave noah and dada alone for a few moments and this is what happens . . . construction in our basement.

i placed a fluffy blanket down on the couch recently and it didn't take long until someone stole it and claimed it. luckily we own more than one.

noah has been into helping us with everything. he recently helped me make some vegetarian quinoa chili and cornbread. he got a kick out of standing on the step stool and being able to reach the kitchen counters.
it's easy to go stir crazy in the house in the winter. we made an effort to try to let noah have some fun over the christmas break before our schedules got crazy again. after some google searching for indoor play places, we found "long live playtime" and took a trip out for some fun after naptime.
noah loved it and we would definitely go back!
sometimes noah wakes up and wants to give leko a big hug and kiss. it's adorable but i'm always there to mediate to make sure no one gets bit.
it's cute how he wants to love on him!
over the christmas break, we took a trip up to binghamton one evening to visit the discovery center. i have seen this place advertised on facebook for months, but this was our first opportunity to be able to go and noah loved it! they had all different stations set up like a mini town and he checked each and every one of them out thoroughly.
noah loved being able to get hands on with everything and having everything his size. we would definitely go back again sometime!
when we were in ikea, we found this adorable kid-sized easel. we thought it was cute and noah insisted on needing it, so it came home with us.
he was excited to help assemble it and even more excited to pull up a stool from his play table and start drawing.
it's pretty much a daily occurrence now to visit the playroom for some art time. he's not shy to tell us what he wants us to draw for him too!
back in august, our friends isabella and josh gave us a gift certificate to take noah to the build-a-bear workshop. we were swamped all fall with work, so we were happy to be able to visit a build-a-bear over the christmas break.
we took an evening trip to new jersey to use a gift certificate to the cheesecake factory and to make our pilgrimage to trader joe's to stock up, and there was a build-a-bear there so we decided to check it out for noah.
even though we had to rush through because it was so late, he liked getting to stuff his own bear. he put the heart inside and even a special message inside too. now the bear says "i love you" when noah presses his paw. what really made noah excited was finding out they had a blippi costume to put on the bear since he is blippi obsessed! we also got a pair of shoes and a pair of pajamas for the bear too.
he proudly carried that bear out of the store and didn't let go of it the whole way home in the car!
